W/01 · Overview

What website redesign and migration actually covers.

Redesigns and migrations are the highest-risk projects in marketing. Done well, they unlock years of compounding growth. Done badly, they erase years of SEO equity in a single launch weekend.

We approach every redesign as a strategy, design, engineering and SEO project simultaneously. URL mapping starts in week one. Redirect strategy is reviewed before any design work locks. Performance and Core Web Vitals are budgeted upfront, not patched post-launch.

W/02 · Scope

What is included in a redesign or migration.

Strategy, design, build, SEO protection and launch ops.

  • Scope 01

    Discovery and audit

  • Scope 03

    Redesign and IA

New information architecture, design system and UI aligned to current brand, audiences and conversion priorities.

  • Scope 04

W/06 · FAQ

Website Redesign & Migration — common questions.

Practical answers to the questions buyers ask before they engage on website redesign & migration.

FAQ 01

How do you avoid losing SEO rankings during a migration?

URL mapping starts in week one and drives the rest of the project. Every URL gets a 301 redirect, schema and metadata are preserved or improved, internal linking is rebuilt, and we run a full crawl QA before launch. Recovery is typically within a normal indexing cycle.

FAQ 02

Can you migrate from any platform?

Yes — WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, HubSpot CMS, Webflow, Magento, Shopify, Drupal, custom CMS and legacy systems are all standard. Content extraction is part of the engagement.

FAQ 03

How long does a typical redesign take?

Marketing sites range from 10–16 weeks end to end. Large content libraries, ecommerce and multi-region projects can run 16–28 weeks. We share a phased plan with milestones at kickoff.

FAQ 04

What about traffic dips after launch?

Some volatility is normal as Google reindexes. We monitor rankings, indexation and Core Web Vitals daily for 60–90 days post-launch and respond rapidly to any signal of regression.
